Ingredients

butter size of walnut
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Preparation

Put butter in skillet.
Melt; add sugar and dissolve.
Mix egg yolks and cornstarch; add cold milk, vanilla and salt in bowl. When well mixed, add to skillet and cook until thick.
Make meringue for top.
