Old-Fashion Johnny Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sour milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
5 Tbsp. melted shortening
3 Tbsp. sugar or honey
1 tsp. soda

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together and pour into an 8 x 8-inch greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until done.
