Trash - Puppy Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick butter
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. peanut butter (any kind)
1 large box Rice Chex
1 lb. box powdered sugar

Preparation

Melt first 3 ingredients together, blending well with wooden spoon.
Place Rice Chex in large bowl.
Slowly pour chocolate mixture over Chex and gently fold until completely covered with chocolate.
Take clean medium kitchen trash bag (that's how it got it's name).
Pour 1/2 box of sugar in it; then pour Chex mixture in and top with rest of sugar.
Close bag and gently roll bag from hand to hand.
Do this at least 10 times.
Open bag and each Chex will be individually coated.
To make trail mix, add peanuts and raisins after mixed.
