Country Steak And Onion Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. country style steak
    1 c. flour
    1 can French onion soup
    3/4 c. cooking oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Batter steak with flour, then brown in 1/2 cup oil on both sides.
    Salt and pepper while cooking.
    Put in large baking dish. Add balance of oil to pan.
    Also, 4 tablespoons flour, stirring until brown.
    In a bowl, pour can of onion soup.
    Add 2 1/2 to 3 cans water.
    Pour into pan.
    Stir until slightly thick.
    Pour over steak in baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 20 to 25 minutes.
    Gravy will thicken more while baking.
