Tea Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
dash of salt
dash of baking powder
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
powdered sugar for dusting
Preparation

Mix together in bowl butter and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add vanilla.
Blend together flour, salt and baking powder.
Add flour mixture to butter mixture, blending well.
Add chopped nuts.
Roll dough out into two balls.
Wrap in plastic wrap.
Chill for 1 hour in refrigerator.
Flatten dough out and cut into 15 to 16 equal size pieces.
Shape into small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
While still warm, roll into powdered sugar.
