Chicken And Mushrooms In Wine Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. boneless chicken breasts and thighs
4 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1/2 c. sliced onions
2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 c. tomato sauce
1 c. sherry wine
2 Tbsp. sweet vermouth
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced
salt and pepper
Preparation

Skin chicken breasts and thighs and cut into serving pieces. Cook chicken in butter until no longer pink on the outside.
Add the sliced mushrooms and onions and brown lightly.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook over moderate heat for 45 minutes. Serve over hot noodles or rice.
Makes 5 to 6 servings.
