Rhubarb Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. melted butter
    1 1/2 c. raw oatmeal
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    5 c. fresh rhubarb or apples, cut up
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients.
    Press half of this mixture into a greased 9 1/2 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Cover with rhubarb or apples.
    Cook sugar, water, cornstarch and vanilla until clear and thick.
    Pour over fruit and top with the remaining crumbly mix. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
