Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium potatoes or 1 can potatoes
    3 slices bacon
    1/3 c. chopped onions
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 to 3 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. celery seed
    dash of pepper
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in their jackets or use canned.
    Peel and slice thinly.
    Fry bacon slowly.
    Drain on absorbent paper.
    Crumble. Saute onions in bacon fat until golden brown.
    Blend in flour and seasonings.
    Cook over low heat.
    Stir in water and vinegar.
    Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Stir potatoes and crumbled bits of bacon in carefully.
    Remove from heat.
    Cover and let stand until ready to serve.
    Yields 2 generous servings.
