Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. sliced apples
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    3/4 c. cream
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, butter and apples.
    Cover with water and bring to boil and simmer until sugar is dissolved.
    Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cream.
    Drop by spoonfuls into hot syrup. Cover tightly and cook 20 minutes.
    Do not lift lid.
    Serve with cream.
