German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 rounded Tbsp. flour (or half flour, half cornstarch)
    6 slices Petit Jean peppered bacon, diced
    3/4 c. onion
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until tender.
    Drain, peel and cut into 1/4-inch slices.
    Put into serving bowl.
