Almond Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
1 1/4 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. uncooked regular rice
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. slivered almonds
Preparation

Combine water, broth and salt in a saucepan; bring to a boil and add rice.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
Melt butter in a small skillet.
Saute almonds in butter until lightly browned.
Stir into rice.
