Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

2 (9-inch) Keebler graham cracker pie crusts
2 1/2 qt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
whipped cream (optional)
Preparation

Bake pie shell for 5 minutes (follow instructions on package). Mash enough strawberries to measure 1 1/4 cups.
Mix sugar and cornstarch in 2-quart saucepan. Stir in water and strawberries gradually. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Cool.
