Homemade Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (14 1/2 oz. each) tomatoes, peeled and cut up
    1 can (7 oz.) green chilies, diced
    4 green onions, finely chopped
    2 garlic cloves, crushed
    2 sprigs cilantro
    dash of hot red pepper sauce to taste
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves, crushed
    dash of sugar
    salt to taste
Preparation
    In a small bowl, mix all ingredients, mashing tomatoes. Cover.
    Refrigerate at least 3 hours to allow flavor to mellow.
