Banana Split Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 graham cracker crust
    1 box instant banana pudding mix
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 container whipped cream
    1 jar cherries
    1 tsp. cornstarch (if needed to thicken)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Prepare graham cracker crust.
    Mix pudding according to package directions; pour into crust.
    Cook pineapple for 10 minutes over low heat.
    Add thickening, if necessary (1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 to 2 tablespoons water).
    Cool for 10 to 15 minutes. Pour over pudding.
    Spread with whipped topping over top.
    Garnish with pecans and cherries.
    Refrigerate for 30 minutes and serve.
