Almond Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
    salt to taste
    1/2 c. slivered, blanched almonds
    4 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Heat butter in saucepan; add almonds and saute a few minutes just until golden.
    Add rice and stir until it is thoroughly coated.
    Add water and salt.
    Bring to lively boil.
    Stir briefly. Boil until water barely disappears from surface.
    Lower heat immediately.
    Cover tightly and cook until rice is done and fluffy, about 20 to 30 minutes.
