Beer Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Cups Brown Sugar
1 Cup Butter
2 Eggs
3 Cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Allspice
1/2 tsp. Cloves
1 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 Cup Chopped Nuts
1 Cup Chopped Dates
1 Cup Sliced Maraschino Cherries
2 Cups Beer
Preparation

Cream sugar, butter and eggs together.
Sift or stir together flour, baking soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon and allspice.
Add to creamed mixture alternating with beer.
Roll cherries and dates in powdered sugar.
Fold in dates, cherries, and nuts.
Turn into greased tube pan.
Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Cool on rack completely before removing from pan.
