Chicken And Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 chicken breasts
1 can asparagus spears
1 can water chestnuts, thinly sliced
1 small jar pimientos, cut in strips
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 small pkg. blanched almonds (optional)
1 can onion rings
Preparation

Boil chicken and cut into bite-size pieces.
Stir together soup, pimiento strips, water chestnuts, almonds, salt, pepper and chicken.
Put into buttered casserole.
Carefully fold in drained asparagus.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes, or until it bubbles.
Add onion rings to cover top for the last 8 to 10 minutes. Preparation time:
45 minutes.
Can be prepared in advance. Serves 6.
