Hidden Treasure Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. apricot nectar
    1 tsp. grated orange rind
    3/4 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. rum flavoring
Preparation
    Sift flour, 3/4 cup sugar and salt together.
    Beat egg whites with cream of tartar in large mixing bowl until soft mounds form. Gradually add 3/4 cup sugar, beating constantly until very straight peaks form.
    Mix egg yolks, apricot nectar, rum flavoring and orange rind.
    Add dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
    Beat 1 minute with mixer on medium speed.
    Add 1/3 at a time to egg whites, folding gently but thoroughly.
    Put in ungreased 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Invert and cool. Slice into 3 layers and spread Apricot-Orange filling between layers, then frost top and sides with Snowy White Frosting.
