Mom-Mom'S Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    beef cubes
    onion, chopped
    carrots, chopped
    potatoes, chopped
    peas (canned or frozen)
    water
    oil
    flour
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Salt and pepper beef cubes; dip in flour.
    Heat a small amount of oil in frypan.
    Add floured beef cubes to heated oil.
    Brown all over.
    Add chopped onion and simmer a few minutes, then add a small amount of water to cover meat.
    Simmer about an hour or an hour and a half, then add carrots.
    Let cook about 1/2 hour, then add potatoes.
    Cook until vegetables are done.
    Add peas.
    Cook another 5 minutes or until all vegetables are tender.
