Broccoli Rotini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. rotini pasta, uncooked
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 1/2 lb. fresh or frozen broccoli, cooked, drained and cut into small pieces
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/3 tsp. pepper
    1 c. low-fat cottage cheese
Preparation
    Cook rotini pasta according to directions on package; drain. Saute garlic and basil in oil in a nonstick skillet for 1 minute. Add parsley, broccoli, chicken broth, pepper and Parmesan cheese. Cook and stir until mixture is heated.
    Remove from heat, stir in low-fat cottage cheese; add rotini to broccoli mixture, toss together.
    Makes 4 servings.
