Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomatoes
    3 pieces bread
    1 chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 green pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Place tomatoes in casserole dish.
    Toast bread; crumble to crouton size.
    Put all remaining ingredients in dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
