Baked Stuffed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 tomatoes
    1/2 c. chopped broiled bacon
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    1 small onion, minced
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    6 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Wash tomatoes, but do not peel.
    Cut slice from top of each; scoop out centers and lightly salt insides.
    Mix tomato pulp, bacon, celery, onion, bread crumbs, salt and half of cheese.
    Fill tomato cavities with mixture. Cover with remaining cheese.
    Dot with butter.
    Place in greased muffin cups or baking dish.
    Bake about 30 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
