Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
4 eggs, one at a time
3 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour, sifted 4 times with 1/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cream butter, eggs and sugar.
Add flour and fold in buttermilk last.
Bake in a tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
