Schrafft'S Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter (not margarine)
    3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Melt butter, chocolate and sugar over hot water in a double boiler.
    Add other ingredients.
    Let cook for 2 hours.
    Just before serving, add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Makes 1 pint.
