Maple Pecan Shortbreads - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    For shortbreads, preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Generously butter a 9-inch square baking dish.
    Cream butter and sugar in processor until light and fluffy.
    Add flour and process until blended; do not form a ball.
    Pat into bottom of prepared dish.
    Bake until shortbread is light brown, about 25 minutes.
