2 Hour Buns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening, softened
1 c. boiling water
2 eggs, beaten
2 pkg. yeast
1 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
6 c. flour
about 2 more c. flour
Preparation

Cream the sugar and shortening.
Add boiling water.
Beat well. Add eggs.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Mix salt with 6 cups flour.
Mix well.
Knead in about 2 more cups of flour.
Put in large greased bowl.
Let raise 1 hour.
Shape into buns and let raise 1 hour.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 15 to 20 minutes until lightly browned.
