Cranberry-Tangerine Conserve - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 tangerines
    2 c. water
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. cranberries
    1 (1 3/4 oz.) pkg. powdered fruit pectin
    6 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Remove peel from tangerines; scrape off excess white membrane. Cut and peel into very thin strips.
    Reserve 3/4 cup strips.
