Purple Cooked Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bacon
    2 purple cabbage, cut in pieces
    2 large Irish potatoes, diced
    4 cloves garlic
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Drain off fat.
    Add cabbage, pinch of red pepper and salt to taste.
    Add garlic and potatoes.
    Add 1/2 cup water and cook over low heat.
    When potatoes are done, serve.
