Apple Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    3 Tbsp. Crisco
    enough milk to mix ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix first three ingredients.
    Roll into ball and chill.
    Bring next 4 ingredients to a boil and put in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Roll dough into large circle.
    Sprinkle with apples, brown sugar and cinnamon.
    Roll into jelly roll.
    Cut into 1 1/2-inch slices.
    Put in pan and bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
