Porcupines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped dates
    2 sticks butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 pkg. coconut
Preparation
    In large pan, melt butter and sugar, then quickly add beaten eggs, stirring constantly. Add dates. Cook on medium. Add vanilla and salt. Cook until it slightly comes to a bubbly mix and until dates make mixture darker. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies and walnuts. Let cool enough to handle and roll in coconut. Keep refrigerated.
