Ingredients

1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. mint extract
green food coloring
2 (12 oz.) bottles (3 c.) ginger ale
chopped ice
Preparation

Combine the water and sugar and bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
Remove from the heat and cool.
Then add the lemon juice and mint extract, next enough green food coloring to tint a very delicate green.
Before serving, add the ginger ale and serve with or without chopped ice.
Makes 5 cups before adding ice. Serve and enjoy.
