Prune Cake - Orange - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. cooked mashed prunes
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. grated orange rind
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Beat thoroughly. Add prunes and mix well. Add soda to buttermilk. Add flour and milk alternately. Bake in a well-greased, floured tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. While cake is still hot in pan, pour mixture of juice of 2 oranges, 2 teaspoons grated orange rind and 2 cups confectioners sugar over the cake and let stand until cake has absorbed it. This cake stays moist for days.
