Beverly'S Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter (at room temperature)
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. plain all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Alternate adding eggs and flour.
    (Add salt and soda with first cup of flour.)
    Add sour cream, then vanilla last.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
