Pork Chop Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 pork chops
    1 (15 oz.) can consomme beef soup
    1 (15 oz.) can onion or French onion soup
    1 bell pepper (medium)
    1 onion (medium)
    2 c. rice
    1/2 c. onions, chopped
    1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Saute half cup of bell pepper and onions in butter or margarine.
    Brown pork chops on both sides in separate frying pan. Pour consomme beef and onion soups on 2 cups rice in saucepan.
    Let cook for about 30 minutes or until rice is halfway done, uncovered, in oven on 300\u00b0 to 350\u00b0.
    Take saucepan out of oven and spread pork chops over rice.
    Cut strips of bell pepper and strips of onions on top of pork chops.
    Bake in preheated oven, covered with foil, for about 30 to 45 minutes.
