Dip Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. wieners
    1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Put hot dogs in boiling water, and let stand for 5 minutes. Drain and wipe dry.
    The hot dogs must stand in the water to get rid of the grease.
    Mix dry ingredients in a shallow bowl, and then add the eggs and milk.
    Mix well with a fork.
    Heat cooking oil to deep fry (about 360\u00b0).
    Coat each hot dog with the batter and fry until brown on all edges.
    The batter will cling well to the hot dogs.
