Carole'S Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. tea, unsweetened
    46 oz. can pineapple juice (Dole or Del Monte)
    8 oz. can frozen orange juice
    2 c. sugar
    water as needed
Preparation
    Brew tea as you normally do to make 1/2 gallon.
    In a clean plastic jug pour tea and add pineapple juice.
    Put frozen orange juice, sugar and about 1/2 cup of the tea/pineapple juice mixture into a small pan and heat it to dissolve the sugar and the orange juice.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Pour into gallon jug with the tea and pineapple mixture.
    If one gallon container is not full add enough water to fill and mix thoroughly.
    Place in refrigerator or freezer to get very cold, almost to a slush.
    Pour over crushed ice in a punch bowl.
