Green Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can green Ortega chilies
    2 onions, chopped
    1 large can stewed tomatoes
    1 lb. ground sausage, beef or pork
    garlic salt, salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Fry sausage, beef or pork in a skillet. Add onions and seasonings until done.
    Add green chilies, shredded, then add tomatoes and simmer 1/2 hour or until chilies are tender. Serve on beans, eggs or eat as is with tortillas.
