Apple Cherry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pitted cherries
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3 c. sliced apples
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    dash of cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine 1 cup sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Set aside. In large bowl, combine cherries and apples.
    Add sugar mixture; toss to coat.
    Put in 9-inch pastry lined pie pan.
    Dot fruit with margarine.
    Add top crust.
    Seal and flute edge.
    Brush top crust with milk.
    Combine 1/2 teaspoon sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over top.
    Cut slits in the top crust.
    Cover edge with foil.
    Bake for 25 minutes.
    Remove foil.
    Bake another 20 to 25 minutes.
