Ingredients

3 Tbsp. melted butter
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs, separated
2/3 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat whites until stiff; beat yolks and add butter and buttermilk.
Sift dry ingredients, then add whites and vanilla. Pour one cup of batter into preheated Belgian waffle cooker.
