Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn (fresh cut from the ear)
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine the corn with the eggs.
    Stir in the flour, baking powder and salt.
    If too thin, add more flour.
    Mix the batter until smooth.
    Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto a greased griddle and fry like pancakes.
    Serve with meat or alone with syrup or sorghum.
