Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean pork
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 large can pineapple chunks
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 medium green pepper
    1/4 c. onions
    1 c. water
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Brown pork slowly in shortening.
    Add 1 cup water, bouillon cube and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
    Cover and simmer until tender; drain pineapple and save syrup.
    Add brown sugar, syrup, cornstarch, vinegar, soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
    Put into saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly.
    Add sauce to pork; mix well.
    Stir in pineapple chunks, sliced green pepper and thinly sliced onion.
    Cook over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until vegetables are tender and crisp.
