Cranberry Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer, cut up
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 medium onion, cut up
    1/2 green bell pepper, cut up
    salt to taste
    1/2 can whole cranberry sauce
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown cut up fryer in butter and shortening until brown.
    Pour off all but 2 tablespoons shortening.
    Add onion, bell pepper, salt to taste, cranberry sauce and water.
    Simmer about 45 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
