Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 med. potatoes, cubed
    1 onion, diced
    1 carrot, diced
    1- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1 can condensed cream of celery soup
    2 c. milk
    Salt, Pepper, and Garlic Powder to taste
    Optional: shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onion tops, bacon bits
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and onions until tender. Stir in cream cheese until melted. Add soups, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth and thoroughly heated. Garnish and serve.
