Squash Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. uncooked rice
    2 c. shredded squash (omit seed)
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    water
Preparation
    Put rice in a pan; put water in pan to just cover rice.
    Cook for 5 minutes.
    Melt oleo in a 13 x 9-inch pan and layer ingredients in order given (may use more water if need be).
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes or until rice is done.
