Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    32 oz. shredded hash browns
    8 oz. sour cream
    1/2 cup melted butter
    12 oz. American cheese, grated
    1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 cups corn flakes
    1/2 cup melted butter
Preparation
    Place hash browns in bottom of casserole pan.
    Mix sour cream, 1/2 cup butter, cheese, onion and soup together.
    Spread over top of hash browns.
    Crush corn flakes and sprinkle over top of mixture.
    Pour the other 1/2 cup melted butter over top of everything.
    Cook uncovered for about 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
