Baked Cornish Hen With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Cornish hens, split in half and washed
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. uncooked long grain and wild rice
    1 medium onion, sliced
    3 c. water
    4 tsp. chicken bouillon
    1 tsp. Italian herb seasoning
Preparation
    Combine celery and uncooked rice in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Spread onions over rice.
    Top with Cornish hens, skin side up.
    Bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
    Add bouillon, seasonings and rice packet seasoning.
    Stir until bouillon is dissolved.
    Pour over hens.
    Cover baking dish with aluminum foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Uncover.
    Brush hens with butter and bake, uncovered, for another 1/2 hour.
