Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg, well beaten (2 egg whites may substitute)
1 c. skim milk
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt (if desired)
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. shortening, melted
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Grease muffin cups.
In mixing bowl, combine egg or egg whites, skim milk, oatmeal and sugar.
Beat and slowly add dry ingredients.
Add melted butter.
Bake 20 minutes.
