Sweet Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cooking oil
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
4 Tbsp. hot water
2 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. sweet potato, grated
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Blend in oil, sugar and egg yolks and beat well.
Add hot water and then dry ingredients that have been sifted together. Stir in potatoes and nuts and beat.
Beat egg whites stiff and fold into mixture.
Bake in 3 cake pans at 350\u00b0 until done.
