Five-Layer Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    4 (4 oz.) ground beef patties
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
    4 medium carrots, sliced
    1/2 medium onion, sliced
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Arrange bacon in bottom of skillet.
    Place beef patties over bacon; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Place potatoes over beef; season with salt and pepper.
    Layer carrots and onion over potatoes.
    Cook on low until bacon starts to sizzle.
    Pour in water.
    Cook, covered, for 45 minutes or until done.
