Diane'S Homemade Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 (12 oz.) bags semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 (10 oz.) bag miniature marshmallows
    1 large can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 c. pecans (optional)
    4 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    In a large pot, combine sugar and evaporated milk.
    Cook until it comes to a rolling boil.
    Do not boil for more than 8 minutes. Remove from heat and add chips, marshmallows, vanilla, butter and pecans.
    Mix well and spread on an ungreased baking sheet (use a fairly large one).
    Let cool completely and cut
    into squares. Makes about 6 dozen small squares.
